Frequently Asked Questions

Can I export my flashcards to Anki/Quizlet/Xon and other platforms?

Yes! In one click, you can export your flashcards as a .apkg file for Anki/Xon and a .csv file for Quizlet. If there’s any other platform you would like us to support, please contact us - we would love to hear from you.

Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. You can do this from your account settings.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. We do not accept PayPal. For enterprise customers, we can accept ACH payments. Please contact us to learn more.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. You can do this from your account settings.

Why do you only offer 3 generations in the free plan?

We wanted to make sure there is a solid balance between trying out the power of AI assisted studying and cost. PDF2Anki uses a combination of a powerful finetuned GPT model from OpenAI as well as our own custom trained large language model specialised in flashcard and question generation. The cost of running our own LLM is immensely large - in addition, we are paying OpenAI for their usage of the powerful model that powers ChatGPT in a per word basis which has high operating costs to run as well.

What happens if I exceed my monthly quotas?

If you exceed your monthly limits, you can also choose to upgrade your plan if needed, or wait until the first day of next month to reset your limits (resets at 12am UTC time).

Do you offer a free trial?

We do not offer a free trial due to the nature of the product (running an AI model is highly costly for every request). However, you can cancel your subscription at any time.

Where can I find my invoices?

You can find your invoices in your account settings.
